For the past six years, Dreamcolor Creative Studio has supported Youth Guidance’s Working on Womanhood (WOW) program, with materials used in schools across multiple states.

WOW is a school-based program serving girls in grades 6 through 12, centered on core values such as leadership, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and healthy relationships. Our work supports that mission by creating materials that feel engaging, relevant, and meaningful within the classroom experience.

What began as a small set of creative materials has grown into a catalog of more than 25 publications developed specifically for the program. Each year, new and updated resources are created to align with program goals and reflect the needs of the students being served. These include guided journals, activity-based workbooks, and self-awareness and self-love resources.

Designed for Students
At the center of this work is the student experience. Materials are designed to feel relatable, age-appropriate, and engaging, encouraging reflection and participation across a range of classroom environments.

Representation is an important part of the process. Each publication reflects a wide range of identities and lived experiences, helping students see themselves in the content in a way that feels natural and affirming.

Over time, these materials have become part of a larger learning experience, offering tools students can return to throughout the school year for reflection, creativity, and personal growth.

Our Role
We support the full development process from early concept through final production. This includes content structuring, layout and formatting, visual design, preparation for print and distribution, and the creation of an annual catalog featuring new releases.
